I apologize for the crappy photo, it was dark when I finished the cupcakes and all I had handy was my phone camera. :)
These were one of the first kinds of cupcakes I made in the new oven. I had never "browned" butter before, but it was very easy, you just need to keep a close eye on it. The recipe I found said it added "depth" to the flavor, I didn't have but more than a bite of the cupcakes, so I can' t accurately say whether or not I agree with that statement or not. :) They were good, and the cinnamon frosting was also delicious! I found the recipe HERE. I did just use butter/cinnamon/vanilla/powdered sugar for the frosting instead of the recipe on the blog.
