The big weekend finally arrived! Several months ago my cousin asked if I would make cupcakes and a cake for her wedding and I happily said yes! :) She chose the flavors of coconut cream, cherry almond vanilla, orange creamsicle and chocolate with vanilla frosting. I needed to make 27 dozen, which was 324 cupcakes, plus I made another 2 dozen Snickers cupcakes for another family member. Here are some pics of the cupcakes. I ordered a silicone flower mold online a few weeks back and made a flower for each cupcake out of gum-paste and then brushed them all with pink Luster Dust to give them some shimmer, it was a bit time consuming, but the end product was worth it!
Here's a picture of them all packed up to go - my mom got these HUGE boxes from her work and they were PERFECT!
At the reception, each flavor of cupcake was on a separate cupcake stand and then there was a mixture on a stand on either side of the centerpiece cake.
Thanks for coming through for Lysa. We had no doubt it would be wonderful, but, at the end of the night we had 3 cupcakes left. What more can I say but thanks for making her day special. I will recommend you to everyone.

Thank you so much, Colleen! I was wondering how many cupcakes you ended up with and I am so glad they all went and were a hit! :) Thanks for inviting me to Lysa's beautiful day!

I thought the cupcakes looked and tasted fantastic! And thanks for taking the time to make me extra of my very favorite, Snickers!

About Me
I grew up in a small town and am lucky enough to have two amazing grandmas and a wonderful mom in my family who taught me how to bake. My mom had a cake baking/decorating business when I was growing up so that is what fueled my interest in cakes...birthday cakes, wedding cakes, cupcakes ... you name it - I love them!
